Felipe Martínez Amador

Colombian director, scriptwriter and producer with experience in more than 50 episodes of cable series such as “Historia de un Crimen: Colmenares”, “2091”, “Cumbia Ninja,“ La Muchacha que Limpia ”,“ Tiempo Final ”,“ Kdabra ”, “Karabudjan” and “Lynch” among others. His first film “Bluff” was released in 2007, becoming the highest grossing Colombian film of that year.

He wrote and directed the feature films “Malcriados” and “Loco por Vos” for Dynamo, roles that he repeated for the Peruvian producer Tondero in the film “Igualita a Mi”. With Proyectil he co-produced the film “Magallanes” and wrote, produced and directed the feature films “Doble” and “Fortuna Lake”. He currently works as Showrunner for the production company BTF Media in Mexico.

Colombian director, scriptwriter and producer with academic training in film and television directing from the Escuela Superior de Artes y Espectáculos TAI Madrid, and experience in different fields of audiovisual production.

He has directed more than 60 episodes of TV series, such as “Cumbia Ninja”, “Kdabra”, “Minds in Shock”, “Final Time” and the science fiction series “2091” all for the Latin American cable channel Fox. He has also directed episodes of the series “Sin Tetas No Hay Paraiso” (Telecinco), “Mentes en Shock” (Fox) and “Karabudjan” (Antena 3) for the Spanish market.

Martínez directed the telefilms “El Gran Robo” and “Una Anomalía Perfecta” and the documentary “El Mexicano” from the Fox Telecolombia production company for the RCN channel.

“Bluff”, his first feature film, was released on March 23, 2007 in Colombia, becoming the most viewed Colombian film of that year. Bluff won the Audience Award at the Miami Film Festival and the Toronto Latino Festival, as well as being presented at the Cannes Film Festival.

Since 2012 he founded Proyectil production company and produced the series “Talión”, “Yo te llevo a Brasil” and the films “Magallanes”, “Doble” and “Fortuna Lake”.

In October 2015, he directed the film “Malcriados” for the production company Dynamo and won the integral stimulus from the FDC with his film “Doble” which he directed, co-wrote, and co-produced in 2016 and was commercially released in October 2018.

In 2017 he directed, co-wrote and co-produced the horror film “Fortuna Lake” shot between Bogotá and La Cocha in Nariño, that will premiere in Colombia in 2020.

In 2018, in addition to producing and directing the teaser “Anahí” for Sony, and directing the pilot of the series “La Justiciera” for Fox Telecolombia and Telemundo, he shot the series “Historia de un Crimen: Colmenares” with the production company Dynamo for the Netflix digital platform.

In 2019, he directed the movie “Loco por vos” for Dynamo production company, which premiered on January 23 of this year in theaters in Colombia. Later in Mexico he directed the series “La Niña que Limpia” by BTF Media production company for the audiovisual company Turner and in Peru he wrote and directed the film “Igualita a mi” for Tondero production company.

He currently works as Showrunner – Executive Producer for BTF Media Production Company. He also develops several feature films and series projects with his production company Proyectil.
